Have you ever lost a recipe? Never loose another one.

Upload all of your favourites today. We wont let you loose or misplace another recipe, ever!

We really do want to encourage you to post your favourite recipes, you know the ones. They always work, they taste great and you probably would hate ever to loose or mis-place them.

Really, besides the advantage of having them in a safe spot forever, you also get the opportunity to share them with the world. I think that's not only smart (as I cringe when I think of some of the recipes I have misplaced over my professional career) but I love the thought that it's possible to share the cooking Karma!

I want to start my "Own Recipe Book"-- Add your first recipe

Really, besides the advantage of having them in a safe spot forever, you also get the opportunity to share them with the world. I think that's not only smart (as I cringe when I think of some of the recipes I have misplaced over my professional career) but I love the thought that it's possible to share the cooking Karma!

Start uploading your favourite recipes today, just think about the advantages of your own online recipe book-

§ Recipes will never be lost and they are accessible 24 / 7 365 days of the year from anywhere you find yourself around the globe.

§ Start a recipe book with the whole family; just share your login details and everyone you choose can add recipes to your own family recipe book.

§ You can keep your own group of recipes private if you wish.

§ Pro chefs and cooks will know what it is to loose your recipe book at the least convenient time. (I have had my personal recipe book stolen 3 times) Which was really disheartening at the time. Not only did I loose recipes that I didn't have copies of but it took years to recompile it in entirety again.

§ No matter how often you make a recipe in time you WILL forget the recipe!

§ All your recipes will be in the one easy to read and use format, with pictures if you upload one.

§ Perhaps you may wish to compile a workplace recipe book and perhaps use it as a fundraiser.

§ Your recipes can be printed in a clean, easy to read concise format which makes them a lot more user friendly than a hand written format or a mish mash of printer styles etc.

It does take a little time to upload a recipe but because of the set up at theworldrecipebook.com it is easy to re calculate the recipes to change amounts needed. For instance, if your recipe makes 24 fairy cakes and you need 73 the recipe page will calculate it for you and print you a shopping list to boot.

Add several recipes to the shopping list at a time to give you the ultimate supply list. I use this facility often particularly if I am working on location say on a movie set or yacht or any other crazy location where there are no stores and shopping accuracy is vital. Even just at home there is nothing worse than having to do several shop runs during the cooking process.

You don't need to allow access to your entire recipe books and there are several well-known chefs on here whom just use a cryptic login name. Good chefs and cooks alike though rarely mind sharing individual recipes. You still need skills to produce good food and skill's aren't found in any recipes, that's why many chef's have no problems producing expensive cooking books every Christmas and Mothers Day that contain their personnel recipes.

One member started a recipe book for her daughter heading of to college. The mother uploaded all of the family's favourite recipes that her daughter had grown up with and put the user name and password in a special card as part of her going away gift. By all accounts her daughter was over the moon. Mum regularly updates it also for her with any new recipes she thinks her daughter may like. Why not make a recipe book as a gift for someone you care about?

This site is based on the thought though that most cooks love to share the knowledge and that's why theworldrecipebook.com exists today.

So why not to commit to starting your own collection today and get rid of all of those scarps of paper once and for all.

Start your home, professional, workplace or school recipe book today. A little investment in your time doing it today will make your favourite recipes safe forever.

Thank you again for sharing and I look forward to helping you if you have any problems or if you have any ideas on how I can improve the site for you.
